On Tuesday June 26 the Boulder Daily Camera published an Associated
Press article "Know your BMI" Good article but it failed to tell
how to figure your BMI (Body Mass Index).
Now the body mass index is a metric number. The Associated Press
does not show metric numbers unless forced to do so by the subject.
So, the article simply left out how to calculate it.
BMI is mass divided by the square of height,
mass in kilograms and height in meters.
We can assume that Camera readers are the most educated people in
the world so MBI should be easy for them. Now they have it, no
tables needed.
