I guess so.

I have my input under physic.  I also emailed all my friends and I will
encourage  my students to sign it.

I wonder if reaction to the "snotty" msnNOW article linked in post # 52098
made additional people go sign the petition?

The comments to the msnNOW article are running about half and half in
favor/opposed, and many critical of the tone of the msnNOW article
(unfortunately, many metric haters, too).

The White House petition http://1.usa.gov/ZPV17U has gained an additional
1,000 signatures since I last visited it. It is now halfway to its trigger
level of 25,000 signatures.
