Yes it would – but then the Daily Wail and its ilk would then scream at how 
drinkers are being ‘short changed’ (even though the price would/should be 
lowered accordingly). Of course, if the pint was made 600 mL (and the price 
increased accordingly), then those same papers would then be screaming about 
the price of a ‘pint’ going up.....

Sometimes you can’t win.
