[USMA:52341] Casual metric on CNN

Report today on CNN (head it on my satellite radio): Reporter talking about the 
snow in NY.  I can't quote exactly but she said they expect 2-3 feet, up to a 
meter of snow.  It was a very casual mention, not a conversion, or a cross 
reference.  Guess that reporter has a good feel for what a meter is and is not 
afraid to use it in her reporting.
