Since you have it physically, can you confirm when folded it is about 23 cm (or 
just over 9") long and they listed it INCORRECTLY in Imperial?

No - the markings are in metric only. I picked it up at the store and looked at 
it. I don't know why the web site lists the folded dimensions in imperial.
