Respectfully, if they REALLY wanted to metricate, they'd just metricate.  No 
need for following a specific schedule.  Detailed plan:
1) Write metric style guide
2) Pick an issue.  Non-metric articles won't be published
Done. Just Do It.

want to metricate, then a "specific schedule" is there to help them.
