Below you can find my conversation with the publisher of Costco Connection.

I already emailed everyone on the list the letter I first sent her.

Thanks for your reply. After I sent my initial response, I found your
attachment on your original message and now understand what you are requesting.
I'll forward your suggestion to our executive team and will also consider
running a debate on the topic.

Best wishes,

I hope that Costco, being such an important business nationally and
internationally, can ask its suppliers to progressively pack in metric as I
tried to mention it in the attachment. I understand that legally labels should
still have ounces and pounds; the suppliers can put them in parenthesis as the
chefs did nicely in the recipes on the last Costco Connection.

In fact, I don’t even know your opinion on Metric America, nor your say on
Costco administrative board. At the US metric Association we are trying to
make a positive change in the way The US uses measurements and talk the same
international language, SI.

As the government is too slow to make the move, people in important positions
in the private sector can accelerate the process.

I could suggest that you publish a debate on the subject. I love these debates
in Costco Connection that I read from cover to cover.

I appreciate that you replied to my email.

Sincerely,

I received your message but do not know what you want me to do with it beyond
reading it?
