In our travels, I was swimming in a pool recently at an RV park in California.
I noticed that there are markings on the sides that show the depth only in
legacy feet.

Situation: A child from another country visits and sees markings of 3 feet and
doesn't understand that it is not 3 meters.  He dives in and clunks his head.
I won't go into the probable result.

If the markings are in meters and legacy feet, it may prevent a tragedy.  I
think the law should require swimming pool markings in meters as well as legacy
feet.

I think our legislators should be advised of this concern and will ask my
senators and representative about this.
