It was reported that the players in the Netherlands-Argentina game ran 
"275,000 meters" during the game--all together, of course. With 11 
players per team, that's 12.5 km per player.  Spread out over 90 plus 30 
minutes, of course.  Averages out to a little over 10 m/minute/player.
