That should be a little over 100 m/min per player (12 500 m ÷ 120 min). 

As I wrote in a recent UKMA Metric Views article, the value of 100 m/min is an 
incredibly useful benchmark, equating to  speed of 6 km/h, which is about what 
a brisk walk is. That is why when I saw this USMA post, I knew right away that 
the value of 10 m/min could not be right.

It’s always hard of course to become familiar with a measuring system when you 
don’t use it every day.

It was reported that the players in the Netherlands-Argentina game ran "275,000 
meters" during the game--all together, of course. With 11 players per team, 
that's 12.5 km per player.  Spread out over 90 plus 30 minutes, of course.  
Averages out to a little over 10 m/minute/player.  This per the Wall St. 
Journal.  Nice to see the SI.
