One rarely sees the extreme ends of the prefix table used.
In an article, "Davy Jones's heat locker", in the August 23-29 2014
issue of The Economist (pp. 73/74), the author uses the phrase "69
zettajoules of heat (that is, 69 x 10^21 joules - a huge amount of
energy)". I think that the use of the spelled out zettajoules nicely
emphasizes the extreme size of the value being discussed since the
prefix zetta is rarely seen in print.
All values in the article are given in SI units. Nice. Very, very nice!
