The next step is to develop a plan to distribute, promote and educate stakeholders about the Guide. I have already received calls from two major retailers requesting assistance with unit pricing. I will be contacting each of you over the next month to discuss ideas on how your organization may be able to assist. Some ideas may include: • Press release and/or newsletters. • Education and training webinar(s). • Identifying member companies willing to implement the best practices. • Consumer education and training. NIST will be publishing a press release in January. The Guide acknowledged your organizations effort and input into the Guide, so you may want to prepare a response in the event you are contacted.
