I was never able to find metric drill bits in any store, always had to look 
online and that made it time consuming when you wanted to do something that day.

I always looked, but never found any millimetre size bits in any store and that 
was the only type I was going to buy.

As an aside, I shipped my table saw over here, turns out the European standard 
is a 30 mm mandrel, the standard in the US is 5/8” or about 16 mm. It is 
possible to get inserts here to match the US mandrel size.
