demonstrates a practice of yours that has a negative educational impact. You usually convert metric
units to US Customary even when the original source used metric units. Those 19.6 feet were 6
meters. And those 35 cubic feet were 1 cubic meter. Anyone who attended high school after 1960
knows what a meter is; they have seen and handled meter sticks. Your "dumbing down"
practice is, in effect, a lie to your readers. Please stop being dishonest.
