The Wall Street Journal published an opinion/commentary on the metric
system.
The errors in the original column and in many of the comments is
staggering! I shouldn't be surprised, though. A couple of decades ago I
gave a talk to the SC Engineering Society on the metric system. One of
the engineers present could not be convinced that there are two
distinctly different liters: dry and liquid.
