This 16 second television advertisement for intelligent Delta Faucet has just started appearing today. The ad shows a man building a gingerbread house, stretching his pan out to the faucet and saying, "Hey Google, fill 150 milliters from faucet."

Remember the ad for the two sizes of Payday bar, both given in centimeters? Is this a new trend, giving common measurements in metric units without any fuss. I wonder how many people, looking at the ad, said to themselves, "How much is 150-milliliters?" They probably just took it in their stride. --Martin Morrison
