Howard Russel's post on the dinosaur display prompts me to say that
although I deplore Communist China's poor-quality products (like clothing)
and completely avoid anything edible from there (such as pharmaceuticals
and food for pets, which have been shown to be contaminated) the one
benefit that I have found in other products from there is metrication.
For example, through Amazon, I have purchased some digital thermometers,
which are inexpensive and often have displays ONLY in degrees Celsius.
Somethimes there is a C/F swtich. It is nice, though, to have completely
the metric products. --Martin Morrison
