Why? My Ford Flex can display odometer, trip odometer, and any other trip
computer info in Customary or SI. For the odometer, it appends mi or km to the
number so the units are clear (required by FMVSS 101). The analog speedometer
is dual ring, but there is a digital readout in either unit in the trip
computer.
A mechanical odometer can't change units but an electronic one can.

Where is the miles vs. kilometres setting?
A couple of days ago I managed to change the Zoe navigation from miles to
kilometres, since I prefer metric units. This worked for the speed and
distance, but not for the range or odometer. What I discovered is that the
speed limit sign recognition and warning also doesn't recognise kilometres - at
least not in the UK. So that when it sees a sign for 30, it doesn't do the
conversion to 48 kph, and so it warns me I am over 30 even though I am not. My
Garmin satnav does it correctly by applying the conversion and when I'm in a 30
mph area it shows 48....
So this is too annoying to live with, and I want to swap back to mile - but I
now can't find the setting. I'm finding the Easy Link UI very difficult to
navigate, even though I have worked with computers and smart phones for years.
Can someone please help find the setting for miles vs. kilometres on Easy Link?
