This reminds me that over the weekend, I was looking at some old service 
records on one of my cars.

They called out brake condition in mm, and right under that called out tire 
condition in 32nds of an inch.

Ugh.  This country sometimes....it amazes me.   And why is oil still sold in 
quarts!?
