I notice that there are three segments for the Fahrenheit temperature but only two for the Celsius temperature. I checked in Wikipedia (See https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FFurnace_Creek%2C_California&data=02%7C01%7Cusma%40lists.colostate.edu%7C69cc55ed6aab4849399308d8420552f2%7Cafb58802ff7a4bb1ab21367ff2ecfc8b%7C0%7C0%7C637331937938528309&sdata=u77560m9f9GsyTgBsTUmys8PcOPt%2F36nZbPcMxqnfjc%3D&reserved=0) and found that the lowest recorded temperature was minus ten degrees Celsius. I don't know how that would be represented as it would require three segments - one to hold the "-" sign, the second for the "1" and the third for the "0".
