I notice that there are three segments for the Fahrenheit temperature but
only two for the Celsius temperature.  I checked in Wikipedia (See

 and found that the
lowest recorded temperature was minus ten degrees Celsius. I don't know how
that would be represented as it would require three segments - one to hold
the "-" sign, the second  for the "1" and the third for the "0".
