A major road block to metrication is currently being perpetuated by the Food Marketing Institute. If I am understanding correctly, they hold some heavy weight when it comes to the removal of medieval units of measure on American goods.
Please write them and tell them you support the NIST update to current FPLA law to allow for the option of metric only labeling.
