Would it not be better to publish instructions on how to find such suppliers using the internet. You would have to assume of course that the user is based in the US because various search engines have the ability to identify your location and produce hits accoridngly. As a test, I used Google to find UK suppliers of metric-only Stanley tape measures. (I am UK-based). I put “stanley tape measure metric only” into the search string. I got a large number of mail-order hits, but if I go to any UK DIY stores, I can only buy dual-unit tape measures with metric units at the bottom (where they are the least convenient). I suggest that a far more valuable list would one that identifies products that can be bought as “metric-only” and to list suggested search strings to help the user find suppliers via the internet. Since you are Australian-based, you might need to fool the search engines that you are in the US, possibly by using a US-based proxy account. (Also, leads in millimetre sizes for mechanical pencils.) • Where can I get a metric recipe book, cooking scale and an oven thermometer in Celsius? • Where can I get millimetre drill bits and metric screws?
