So, not too long ago I tried working in a guitar store for a fun, part time gig. Turned out to be the single worst job experience I've ever had for various reasons.
Part of my job was setting up guitars for playability. When it was "discovered" I was using 2 mm/1.5 mm, I kid you not, the manager took me into his office for a "talking to". (I made the bold suggestion that they all should try using them as well, as the 5/64th 3/32's marks were far too hard for my 56 year old eyes to see, and Fender officially states 2 mm bass side, 1.5 mm treble side adjustments) I might as well have been a leper. Might I ask a small favor from any non-US members (or US members as well) to visit their web site at: https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.righteousguitars.com%2F&data=04%7C01%7Cusma%40lists.colostate.edu%7C1295659572904c33bd8e08d9ac5cd6a6%7Cafb58802ff7a4bb1ab21367ff2ecfc8b%7C0%7C0%7C637730336996514400%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=yMl6KPxX4n7R%2Fj9AKSsM148mVn4NAbAlF1YB3BGHbJg%3D&reserved=0 and email them asking for specs in non-US units? After all, they ship around the world. This may very well make the lightbulb go on over their insular heads. Go metric, America! What are you afraid of? _______________________________________________ USMA mailing list [email protected] https://lists.colostate.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/usma
