I red the artcile concerned. The author wrote that Einstein’s equation E =
mc^2 only works if you use metric units. This is not entirely true. Einstein’s
equation works for ANY coherent system of units – it is just that the Imperial
system is not a coherent system of units. For those who are interested, the
Planck system of units is a coherent system (See
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FPlanck_units&data=05%7C01%7Cusma%40lists.colostate.edu%7C1028853fb47b4a46266308db1f5bd9a7%7Cafb58802ff7a4bb1ab21367ff2ecfc8b%7C0%7C0%7C638138251725574858%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=RwJ9y%2BDvy1HbZFkS83QF5pFGFkHhaNZMFsGQaQuyRc0%3D&reserved=0),
though none of the units in that system are named.

I wonder how many of respondents know that all the units of electricity and
magnetism are metric and derived from meter, kilogram, coulomb and second.
I provide a simple example in

1 problem is many people in US can graduate from high school without taking 1
course in science.
Now there are people who think they can fight climate change by cooking with
electricity.
About 80% of electricity in the U.S. comes from fossil fuel or nuclear power
plants, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration

if you have 1 MJ of 0 emissions electricity, if you use it to replace
electricity produced by fossil fuel, you save close to 3 MJ worth of burning
fossil fuel. if you use it to cook by electricity, you save 1 MJ worth of
burning fossil fuel.
to minimize co2 emissions you should replace electricity produced by fossil
fuel and continue to cook with gas.
Also, Peter i like the fact that you use the international date standard which
follows the rules of math.
