The wiki and manual w/ links:

Well thats not nice, nor is it a fair comparison. I am always adding to
the manual. Perhaps you could send some constructive criticism my way?

BTW, prebuilt images have always available:

Hi Josh,

It just crossed my mind after going through your link for FPGA and Fw image.
Does USRP2 with uhd needs any different image to use for WBX daughter board
(as given in this link)

http://www.ettus.com/downloads/uhd_images/

I am using the recent ones and having a slight problem while receiving on
WBX.

Thanks,
Abhinav

Josh,
For a company who is selling a product at this price range, I can at least
require that when the device is shipped, it is configured with a latest code,
do not take this personally, if you are a company, then you should treat your
customers with respect and give them proper documentation and do not expect
them
to search in the jungle of data that exist on your site.

I lost more than a day because the cmake on the main UHD git did not work, the
exact same configuration and exact same computer using the alternative GIT
worked without any problem.

For one of my project, I hired a freelancer who created a device driver,
complete set of documentation, installation program on PC and linux and
firmware
update support from a simple GUI before we shipped the item to our customers.
It
is sad that ETTUS can manage to treat the customers like they are buying Lego
pieces that like a toy, one has to run around and put the pieces together
before
they can 'play' with it.

The cost of USRP2 for us was much much higher than expected due to all these
problems, the wasted time on debugging your installation and getting it to
work,
ended up costing us multiple times of what we had set aside for it.

Sorry, but I am extremely frustrated right now.

Best regards,
Farhad

The WBX implementation is all in the host code. FW and FPGA images are
the same no matter what daughterboard. No need to worry.

What kind of problem are you seeing?

Thanks Josh for ruling out any issue with images.
I'm using USRP2 for OpenBTS to connect to phones on GSM 900Mhz band.
Everything works fine for initial 3-4 mins once I start the system. After
that
USRP doesn't seem to receive any signal from the phone.

I have verified for the clock drift and that is also not an issue. When I
use
*usrp_fft.py* to see the transmitted spectrum from other USRP device, it is
also shown all the time. I'm really going nuts to find out the problem as
BTS
code is doing everything as expected except for receiving any signal from
the phone.

Please let me know if you have any idea on this problem.

Thanks,
Abhinav
