Hello,

I read in one of the posts that amplitudes of IQ time domain samples sent
to the device correspond to power being transmitted. (Like +1,-1
corresponding to maximum power, etc) If this is the case, is there a way to
calculate a rough estimate of the SNR, solely based on the digital
amplitudes of the Tx and Rx data? I am trying to implement an OFDM system
in which the SNR is used to compute some parameter that is used in the
timing offset estimation in the receiver. Is there any other way to get an
approximate value of the SNR without using any scopes for reading out the
signal and noise powers ?
