Since the UHD is dual-licensed, you can use the alternative license in
this case. Anyone wishing to do that should just send me an email and

Armand -
All versions of UHD are testing and work with Windows. Your error is
indicating that the FPGA image that you are loading into your USRP is too
old for the host code you are using. Please follow the instructions in the
UHD manual for downloading the correct FPGA and firmware images for the
version of UHD that you wish to use.

Thanks for taking time to respond. I wasn?t exactly clear in my email.
I?m don't think I'm having a problem between UHD and the radio. That part
seems to be working fine. When I run uhd_usrp_probe the resulting output
looks like UHD is happy. I'm running what I think is the latest firmware and
FPGA load (the most recent I've been able to find).
My question is with the ExtIO to UHD compatibility when I try to run HDSDR.
ExtIO is reporting a protocol compatibility error (expecting 7 to 11 but got
12).
If I'm understanding what I've been reading, ExtIO is telling me that it
wants an older version of UHD (that may require an older version of the FPGA
load). Please correct me if I'm just being dense <g>.

Hi Dean,
Yes I had the same experience dropping uhd.dll into the HDSDR folder. The
only one that seemed to work is the one that installed with HDSDR.
I was having a hard time getting the older versions working on my radio.
I'll try the configuration you're using and see if I can get it going.

For me 32 bit and anything other than the 003.004.x code branch. The latest
version of code I could get working was 32 bit 003.003.002. There is now a
knowledge base article on using HDSDR. They mention having success with
003.004 code but I experienced otherwise.
If I remember correctly any uhd.dll that I tried failed to work other than
the version installed in the local folder with the ExtIO dll.

I think you burnt the images compatible with UHD master branch.
I bet this is built with the last release. Burn this one and it should

FPGA performs TX DSP functions
filtering => upsampling => digital modulation to IF => DAC
The DAC working on 128 MS/s, that's why the interpolation (filtering and
upsampling)is done to convert sampling rate to 128 , Right ??
about IF, how to find it ??
in a typical superheterodyne analog receiver the IF is constant frequency.
is that valid here ?
