Transmit and receive on different frequencies. There will always be some
leakage between the two channels, not to mention that if your
transmitting antenna is within range of or not perfectly isolated from
your receiving antenna some power from the transmitter will always be
received. There is a hardware modification you can perform to SBX that
will improve isolation somewhat, if that is absolutely necessary. Can I
ask what your application is, and how much isolation between TX and RX
you require?
Best,
Nick

It
sounds like TX and RX are on the same frequency, so no amount of
improving the on-board isolation will prevent you from receiving your
own transmissions. Although there are "tricks". You can mix your TX
signal with the RX signals, but 180deg out of phase, which will provide
some suppression. But with RX and TX on the same frequency, the physics
precludes you from seeing your own transmissions, unless the TX and RX
antennae are very far apart, and TX power is very low.

Subject: [USRP-users] Query Regarding OpenBTS

Dear all
i have some important queries. We made an OpenBTS system using USRP1 board.
Now we wish to expand it to establish a 2-cell network.
1.can 2 daughter boards on a usrp1 work independently so we cane make them
act as 2 separate OpenBTS systems representing 2 neighboring cells? this
would allow us not to buy another USRP board.
2.then once we have 2 neighboring OpenBTS systems established, thorough 2
daughterboards or through 2 separate usrp boards, how do we change the
Freeware code of OpenBTS and the usrp boards to detect each other and let 2
people connected to the either of the systems call one another?
Please reply asap. and i would be grateful if you could send a detailed
response.

Dear all,
I use Gnuradio 3.3.0 and debian squeeze
when i install gnuradio, there are error.
cd gnuradio-3.3.0
./configure
.
.
.
checking Python.h presence... yes
checking for Python.h... yes
checking for swig... /usr/local/bin/swig
checking for SWIG version...
configure: error: cannot determine SWIG version
What i can do to solve this problem?
Thanks,
