Hello Felix, Currently the documentation is correct, the PCIe driver is not supported on the 4.4.x kernel. We are working to get it updated and hope to have a timeline for its release soon.
Is there a problem that I can help with to make your 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection work? Ethernet is a better choice in most scenarios. I am not familiar with the requirements of the Open Air Interface software so it is possible that it is one of the applications where PCIe does have benefits.
