Ubuntu 16.04.04 TLS/Kernel 4.8.17 Lowlatency Thank you for the tips. The USB3 problem was solved by flashing the image into default settings. (reset)
uhd_image_loader --args="type=b200,addr=192.168.100.2,reset" However, I bumped into new problems. All my settings worked, EPC online, eNB online, but the antenna does not pick up any signal. The equalized symbol chart is just a dot. All my testing UE are unable to find the service provider network. Letting it run for several minutes, the Huawei dongle begins attach process but soon lost the connection. I think I need a guide to tune the antenna. There are too many parameters beyond my understandings. Make sure that there is nothing in your BIOS that is forcing the USB port to operate in USB 2.0 mode. --Neel Pandeya On 12 July 2018 at 07:34, Marcus D. The machine is Dell desktop acquired in recent year, OS is uBuntu 14.04.04 ith XCHI enabled kernel. The USRP B210 is literally attached to the USB 3.0 port with a proper cable, but was immediately recognized as a USB 2.0 device based on dmesg/lsusb/uhd_usrp_probe messages. Various tweaking and switching tricks are in vain. Computer was changed, BIOS was checked. Whether to install UHD driver is proven irrelevant. There’s even no legacy options to turn off in the BIOS. Expecting any expert to direct us out of this mist.
