If we don't use cables and directly connect the antennas to USRP, can there be mutual coupling between the antennas as their separation is around 14 to 15 cm? Regards, Koyel The separation between antennae for astronomical interferometry is typically many many wavelengths--our 611MHz interferometer has antennae that are 23m apart, for example. It depends on the reason you're doing interferometry that will guide your separation distance. With two antennae very close together, there will be coupling.
