Hi Daniel, The uhd.conf file should be put at /root/.uhd/uhd.conf
You will also need to run the UHD app as root when using DPDK. I can follow up with you offlist with some additional notes I have on getting started with DPDK. We will be publishing a detailed app note soon to cover the topic.
