Any query you might want to make to it requires a "session" being
established, and since there can be only one of those, you'd be the
entity responsible for creating any such
heavy network or processing load.
The X310 doesn't have a general-purpose CPU and OS on it. It has a
minimal ZPU (or perhaps something newer, I can't recall) implementation
in the FPGA to handle a few
housekeeping tasks and implement a de-minimus IP/UDP stack. It is a
pre-MPMD device, so there's no Linux instance sitting there that could
do extensive and
sophisticated performance monitoring.
