Yes, I guess the same. They did not care. However, there is always the
possibility of an act of malice. I think that as long as they cannot conceal
the things to steal it, they wont do it. Another factor is the value of the
goods. I just wanted to make sure. My German contact ships cars on and off and
he said to me that things disappear from time to time.

The who shipped the car just put it in the car, I don't believe he asked for
permission, I'm guessing they really didn't care because when the car arrived
the windshield was there easily seen through the window

Did you ask for permission to ship windshield inside of car or just took it for
granted. I have read it against the company's policy.
I want to just put in mine without asking.

Sergio

My 2107 Did indeed come with a spare windshield, the seller reclined the
passenger seat and the spare windshield rode the entire way resting on the seat

Well it is kind of far from Bremerhaven to Tacoma Washington. I wonder if ship
sail through the Panama canal.
I think it is kind of expensive for UAZ. In 2003 I shipped UAZ from Zeebruggee
to Galveston Texas for only $1600.00
I wonder if there is an up and down in the industry that I can take advantage
of, when prices go down or up. I think they come down early in the year and get
high before Christmas. Gas is $3.11 in Louisiana so I think it has come down
too in the other states, therefore price of shipping should come down.

Did you ship anything in car?????? Can you ship car components.
I need to ship windshield.
Sergio

I paid about 2,000 Euros for my Lada Roll On Roll Off from Bremerhaven to
Tacoma Washington, so I think the quotes you're getting seem Very reasonable
and my too sailed on a Willenius Ship

When Shipping cars from Europe, I have only used wallenius wilhelmsen. This
company gives direct quotes to costumers, no middle guy or forwarding company.
The UAZ is in Germany. Yes I bought UAZ  and my contact will bring car to
Zeebrugee, Anwerp, Belgium.
I have a quote for UAZ from Zeebruggee to Brunswick, Georgia for 1100 Euros.
This is about US1423.00 I have to drive 15 hours to pick up car. I have truck,
so I can pick with trailer. Shipping to Galveston texas is US 1800.00.Driving
to Galveston is only 4 hours ride. I am trying to find container and do
consolidated shipping in a container with another car, given the advantage UAZ
can be topless. so about half of the car height will be gone. This is to ship
to New Orleans, Louisiana. So far, I have not been lucky.

I am thinking into shipping car top less and put everything in UAZ. I think,
they do no want personal items in car, but they do allow car components.
Basically  if they don't, I can have top and 4 upper door sections shipped to
me by surface mail

Sergio

I used Roll on Roll off from Bremerhaven, I suggest using Emma at Phoneix Cargo
out of the UK, she will help you ship from Any port,
[email protected] She's helped me with Six car shipments now, 5
from the UK and One from Germany, she's the only contact you need no matter
which way you plan on shipping....Todd

Todd

How did you ship your LADA2107? ROLL ON ROLL OFF or consolidated shipping?
I need to know what shipping company can ship UAZ out of Zeebrugge, Belgium to
New Orleans,La. I will have UAZ removed top half and fit in container with
other cars

I've insured several cars through Hagarty and they're very reasonable and will
insure just about anything collector car

I have a beater Lada Niva insured with just liability on Geico. However,
I'd highly suggest
insuring stuff that has a high value through like Hagerty. I only paid
$800 for the Niva
and drive it off-road, so classic car insurance isn't appropriate for that.
