Já tinha tentado --prefix mas somente isso não passava.
Precisei usar junto --ignoresize pois alguma coisa estava dizendo pra
ele que ia usar a raiz do sistema onde não tinha espaço.
O comando ficou assim caso alguém mais passe por esta situação:
# rpm -ivh --ignoresize --prefix /usr/local/broffice *rpm
-x-
