Error 1310 work around
On the last attempt to install I got 1310 again. I may have found the
workaround.
Right click c:\Config.Msi\ and open Properties. Give all users
full control - that is short out the security check on this directory.
Next, right click the file in c:\Config.Msi\ and open Properties.
On the Security
tab, click the button and force permissions. You will have to do this
each time
the file is accessed since some process is resetting the file security.
Open Office required 3 cycles to clear the 1310 errors.
If you check permissions on c:\Config.Msi\ after the process completes
you will find your user reset!

questo post e' per la disinstallazione:

How to Resolve Error 1310
After months of spending a half hour here and a half hour there, I've
finally resolved a problem that's really been bugging me. I recently
installed the beta of OpenOffice.org 3.0 and when I tried to uninstall
it I kept getting "Error 1310 Error Writing to file C:\Config.msi\*.rbf"
There didn't seem to be any further troubleshooting information
available, and I was having the same issue trying to remove some other
programs. I tried a number of different things before finally coming
across the easy, simple fix: rename the C:\Config.msi folder. After I
renamed Config.msi to Config.msi.old and restarted the uninstallation,
everything worked normally.
The files in Config.msi are roll back files, used by the Windows
Installer. More details on what they do can be found here.

Su un portatile ho Vista Home Premium (aggiornato) e LiveOneCare come antivirus ma non ha dato errori durante l'installazione, sia di OOo 3.0.1 che di OOo 3.1.0;

indietro)
e darei i permessi suggeriti (controllo completo) alla cartella
c:\Config.Msi\ e all'altra cartella Templates ogni volta che li chiede.

ciao
Beppe

P.S.:
Hai controllato md5sum del file scaricato con:
fciv.exe -md5 nome_file?
fciv.exe lo puoi scaricare da:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290

http://it.openoffice.org/download/3.1.0/download310.html

MD5SUM Windows e' sulla stessa pagina:
