got ya ... can someone point out what i'm screwing up here as those
instructions dont work for me with git-1.5.1 ... my experience with git
really has been checking out the master branch and making diffs ...
$ git clone \
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/util-linux-ng/util-linux-ng.git \
util-linux-ng
$ cd util-linux-ng
$ git checkout -f devel
git checkout: updating paths is incompatible with switching branches/forcing
Did you intend to checkout 'devel' which can not be resolved as commit?
