seems like -vf has broken along the way ... with util-linux-2.12, you could get a nice fstabish output: $ mount -nfv / -o remount /dev/sda3 on / type ext3 (rw,noatime)
with current 2.13 though, mount gets angry: $ mount -nfv / -o remount mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda3 is already mounted on / -mike
