No problem if we're able to keep backward compatibility. The
important is also not introduce any option or functionality that is
not compatible with any distribution.
How many distributions ship bsdmainutils (except Debian)?

I think arch(1) is in coreutils GIT repo only. The version 6.10 is not
released yet.
