Let me try again. Sometimes it's hard to say in words what simple
pointing and grunting can do so well.
1 - I'm looking for a LINUX word processor
2 - That doesn't requires a Window environment to run. I've got WP8.0
-great program but I've got to get into the Window environment to run it.
I've also got Star Office - but again through a Window environment.
I'm looking for a DOS (non-graphical) (what do you call it under Linux?
DOS seems to have become a MSDOS term) based word processor. TEX (or what
ever it's called) may be what I'm looking for but it probably does a lot
more than I want - I've got a son that's going to be in Ecuador in about 9
weeks and I just want to write some letters and they don't have to be
pretty just spelled correctly.
Thanks again.
