NuSphere MySQL

And so I'm going to write an e-commerce PHP application. A quick google search turned up NuSphere's Enhansed MySQL. They claim row-level locking, transactions and crash recovery. It's $495.--, and that seems a lot. Any experiences? Has anyone heard good things about this product?   Ryan
