Running Mandrake on a laptop here. No, don't know what version. Anyway, I like to do as much as I can in text mode, or whatever it's called before KDE fires up. Now, the font I get on powerup is pleasant, but as soon as the boot loader begins -- no, I don't know if it's LILO or GRUB, it doesn't announce itself -- I get this really ugly-looking one, both during boot and at the prompt.
So, how do I get the nice one back? No, starting a window manager is not an option -- I want text mode.
