What you're seeing is messages from people who are posting from the wrong e-mail address (not the one they signed up with) and the messages are stopped in the list server to await moderator approval. Then Dave or whoever goes through them once a week and clears them.
That makes sense. Sending to uug.byu.edu is correct though right? Sending to phantom.byu.edu is wrong? This was all the result of that DNS problem a while back.
