Okay, I've got a serious question. I suppose it relates to the whole backup / recovery problem. I have a system that uses Linux Software RAID in mirroring only configuration. The value of mirroring is supposed to be that if a drive goes bad I can replace the bad one and Linux will sync up the other one, right?

How does this really work? Will it really work?
