Recently I have installed Debian 3.0 on my
laptop. However, I am having a problem. Although I have xdm
installed on my machine and the xwindows server does run properly, I can't seem
to have the xdm start as the default display manager. I get the error
every time when I boot. I don't know what to do.
Does anyone know how to set the default display
manager to xdm? Also how to set the default windows manager?
