I noticed this thread just after I changed providers (dropped Comcast) and
got fixed wireless service. FYI, here is a list of wireless ISPs in Utah:
                http://www.onelasvegas.com/wireless/UT.html
        I'm using Exolo (www.exolo.com). They've been pretty good. They're a small
company and seem to know what they are doing, though I haven't been with them
long enough to really know.
One problem I am having is sharing the connection with my local network. All
the commercial routers that I have seen want to have DSL/Cable/CAT5 in, and
share CAT5/Wireless out. Does anyone have any suggestions for an appliance
that will take wireless in and send Ethernet out? The wireless signal comes
in through a thin cable that runs from the 30' antennae on the roof.
Currently the cable connects to the pinhole on the end of an Orinoco card
connected to my PC through a PCMCIA to PCI bridge. I can't find a device that
will take this connection and share it. Any ideas? I could build one, but I
am looking for a quicker solution.
        Thanks,
                Richard Esplin
