Is there any drawback to using hosts.deny like a blacklist for spam reduction? Will it slow anything down if there are a couple thousand entries in it?
I've thought about using spamassasin or procmail, but I'd rather the spammers use as little of my bandwidth as possible. I'd rather reject their connection than filter out the trash after it arrives. Finally, I know there are maintainers of large blacklists out there. Where can a guy get ahold of one? -Brent ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
