Hi! I am running Mac OS X and have a question about shell scripts:
Can I have a shell script run automatically whenever certain files are
modified?
I put together a small shell script to upload my iCalendar files to my
web server (I am using PHPiCalendar to view them) but I have to
personally run my script anytime I modify my calendars. I would like
that to be done automatically.
BTW, I learned how to use cron yesterday, but I think I would still
prefer that the files be uploaded whenever they are modified as opposed
to on a regular schedule.
Any help appreciated! Thanks!
Richard Miller
