I've noticed a complete lack of people signed up for the clyde. Is there only going to be a booth in the Talmage this time?

If people want to preach to those in the Clyde they can, there just won't be an official booth set up there.

OK, so i am one of those people that needs to do something. I have participated very little with the UUG, only gone to one install fest and put in about $0.04 worth on the mailing list. I think my biggest problem is that i am entirely too anti-social and am a HUGE pain to get along with (right Stuart? :-) It's because of people with attitudes like mine that the UUG is suffering right now, so i am going to go ahead and say that if you still want an official booth in the clyde then i can sit there and hand stuff out from 10 am - noon tomarrow (thursday). I am by no means a "*nix Guru" but i know enough to handle myself and to answer peoples questions. I have a laptop i can show off, which by the way i just reinstalled (because i LOVE watching gentoo compile for hours!) and i decided to go with the 2.6.0-beta5 kernel and reiserfs and can i tell you how much faster it "feels" than my old setup on 2.4 with ext3.... anyway i can have it setup showing off neat linux things. But i have never done one of these so you would have to tell me where to get the table, flyers and knopix cd's.
Any way if you want me to do it then let me know.

p.s. I just want to point out that when the clouds clear off the mountains you can see a dusting of snow on top!! It is a glorious day indeed!!!
