I'm talking my brother into trying Linux because it's cheap. He has a modem and needs Internet access. He wants to use a free ISP like Juno. Does anyone know of a Linux friendly free dial-up ISP?
Sadly the day of real free Internet Service is no more. The most Juno will offer you is 10 hours per month, which isn't much, and almost no one offers it to Linux users because free really means ad-supported and they don't write their client software for Linux.
Unless someone else knows otherwise.
I have a free account from a real ISP that I got through work. Maybe your brother should ask his boss?
